The Sari Project
The word Sari translates to "a long strip of cloth", a traditional piece of cloth worn by women in India. The rugs in this project are made from Upcycled 'throw-away' Saris.
Each rug has a story, of hardship, of love, of warmth expressed especially through textures and colors of the fabric strips.
